My review:

This book was super awesome!I really enjoyed it. The characters were unique, I think that they had well thought out background's that made them who they are. I really respected Darcy, although she was a "princess" she sure as heck didn't want anybody treating her like one. She liked to fight her own battles and cared greatly about her friends, she was easily my favorite character. The overall story plot was interesting and kept be reading eagerly. Also enjoyed the different view points of all the different characters. In conclusion I truly liked this book!

Quinn will stop at nothing to find her niece and nephew, but as she is drawn deeper into the world of Summerfeld, she finds herself torn between her loyalty to her family and the wards she has sworn to protect.

My Review

I was pretty exited to start this book as it sounded very intriguing and I was honestly not disappointed. The story picked up right from the get go and I never really got bored reading it. There was usually always something going on within the story which made it easy to continue reading for a hour or two. In the story they have a few different story lines going on that I am assuming will fit into the plot of the next books, There is Quinn's which is the main story, The vampires and the Gypsies. I honestly didn't enjoy reading the gypsies part until near the end because they didn't really fit into the main plot of the story. Overall I really like this book I feel like Quinn was a very strong and caring character, I liked Drake a lot to and I was honestly hoping for them to get together but who know's there might be a chance right?

Would I recommend this book? Yes
Will i continue to read the series? If given the opportunity yes, But i probably wont go buy them.
Rating- 4/5

My Review

This story started out well and I was pretty interested from the get go I enjoyed Bryte and Emerald's characters, however as I started to get further into the book I wasn't as interested. The further I went into the story the more confusing it got I eventually got so lost I had to start re-reading again and again I  forced myself to finish it although I'm still not sure what exactly what was happening. Personally This book just wasn't for me,but that doesn't mean it isn't for somebody else.

Pro's -

-The Character's (I liked the back story's)

-The old world new world concept

Con's -

-Giant spiders.(seriously hate spiders so this was just a thing that made me want to stop reading)

-Confusing story line

-When the information about the island comes in it comes in one big burst making It hard to  comprehend and a bit of a brain boggle.

The Last of the firedrakes

Title: The Last of the Firedrakes

Author: Farah Oomerbboy

Publisher: Wise Ink Creative publishing

Publishing Date: August 15th 2015

Pages/Format:488,E-book

*synopsis*
16-year-old Aurora Darlington is an orphan. Mistreated by her adopted family and bullied at school, she dreams of running away and being free. But when she is kidnapped and dragged through a portal into a magical world, suddenly her old life doesn't seem so bad.  Aurora must learn to yield her magic and the dangers that come from being the lost princess of Avalonia!...

My Review ....

I would like to begin with saying the world of Avalonia is pretty awesome and I thought it was definitely the best thing about the book, I found the creatures and the places where very cool and set the scenes super well. I found the storyline well thought out and I did find myself wanting to know what happens next. At the start of the book I personally thought Aurora was a bit of a crybaby for the first couple chapters she was always crying, but I presumed it might fit in with her in the end becoming a stronger person and it did,  However I found the intimate characterization in this book was weak I never really fell in love with the characters and I was always wanting to learn more about them. I also believe that since this is the start of the series that we will start to learn more about the character's in the next books. My favourite character has to be Rafe "the black wolf", I found that his story and character were really interesting! (and who doesn't like a mysterious bad ass prince?).
Overall I really enjoyed this book!

Would I recommend this book? Yes I would!
will I continue to read this series when the next book comes out? Definitely!
Rating- 4/5 :)

Title: Tiger Lily
Author: Jodi Lynn Anderson
Publisher: Harper Collins Children's Books
Publishing Date: July 3, 2012
Pages/Format: 292, Hardcover

Before Peter Pan belonged to Wendy, he belonged to the girl with the crow feather in her hair…

Fifteen-year-old Tiger Lily doesn't believe in love stories or happy endings. Then she meets the alluring teenage Peter Pan in the forbidden woods of Neverland and immediately falls under his spell.

My Review-

I'd like to start off by saying that This is my first book review so bare with me here.
Anyway back to the book...

The novel is about a 15 year old tribe girl who is is betrothed to a very awful Giant.
Tiger lily is unlike most woman in her tribe they recognize her as anything but a lady with her always matted hair and the mud in her face and a serious as well as lonely vibe. Most are scared of her and fear she has a death curse. Tiger lily was girl of few words and very  little knew her besides her best friend Pine Sap, that was until she met Peter Pan. She had been warned of few things but staying clear of Peter Pan and the lost boys was DEFINITELY one of those, but Tiger Lily liked to run wild and be free and that is exactly how Pan and the Boys make her feel...well that is until the Wendy bird came along ....

Tiger lily was written in Tinker Bell's POV witch definitely added a cool twist but I found myself often forgetting and getting confused for a split second. Jodi did a good job of making me feel greatly for tiger lily and peter and I love when a author can do that for me. I think Tiger lily is such a well made up character you don't read many like her. I also wanted to trough out there that I LOVE  Peter Pan always have and always will , I've  always had a crush on him since I've seen the movie when I was little . So naturally when I found out there was book based on top of it I just HAD to read it!
It was however a little bit different then I expected but still met expectations.
I love how she brought real feelings and situations to the story about love but like they say "this is not a love story" and although I wish it were it brought a realistic love story to life.
my Favourite quote
"To love someone was not what she expected. It was like falling from somewhere high up and breaking in half, an the only one person having the secret to the puzzle of putting her together

And lastly ..
Would I recommend this book? Yes I would (but keep in mind to keep tissues around if your bad with endings!!)
 Rating- 4/5

thanks for reading! If you have any books you would like to see reviewed email me.
I'm looking to possibly do The White Rabbit Chronicles next or The House Of Night!!
